Free Instagram Reels Safe Zone Template (PNG + Canva)

Have you ever posted an Instagram Reel… only to find your carefully crafted text or logo hidden behind captions, buttons, or other UI elements?

It’s a common frustration — but totally avoidable.

To help, we’ve created a FREE Instagram Reels Safe Zone Template you can use in Canva or import into your video editor (like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro).

Why use a safe zone template?

Instagram Reels display at 9:16 (1080 x 1920 px), but parts of the screen are covered by captions, likes, buttons, or the progress bar — especially in grid view (3:4 ratio).

The “safe zone” is the central area (about 1080 x 1440 px) where your key elements — text, logos, calls to action — should live to avoid being obscured.

How to use it:

✅ Download the PNG or Canva template below
✅ Add it as an overlay on your project (in Canva, or in your video editor)
✅ Keep your most important content inside the safe zone area
✅ Don’t forget to remove the overlay before exporting your final video 😉
